Kevin's Aviation is a news and review website that provides you with to the point and unique news stories about the aviation industry along with flight reviews across a variety of different airlines and aircraft - from all over the world
Hi! My name is Kevin and I am a avgeek from Maryland, in the United States. I love following up on the aviation industry, flying all over the place on every airline and aircraft I can, and even fly myself as a student pilot.
I have always been into aviation ever since I was a child. My first flight experience, which I only remember through pictures and stories from my parents was onboard a Southwest 737-300 in February of 2008. My parents still tell me a very funny story about this flight that I believe may have been the seed to my interest in aviation. When we were pulling into the parking lot at BWI airport that morning my mom pointed out a departing aircraft to me to get excited about the trip and instead of excitement my reaction to this was to have an absolute breakdown in the car, that lasted until we entered the airport terminal because I thought there was only one plane and we had missed it. Throughout my childhood I would be more excited about the flights than the actual destination when we went on vacation. I remember a lot of details about the aircraft that I flew and was able to confirm to through photos and emails in recent years. In March of 2018 I took the very first flight for the sole purpose of flying a plane and from that point on my passion for all things aviation exploded. In the summer of 2020 when the initial covid scare had disappeared but travel was still non-existent I took advantage of this to fly on hundreds of empty flights all over the United States at unbelievable prices (Think $299 Polaris transcons and $49 tickets from LA to Puerto Rico). During this time I also started an instagram page to post mini reviews and breaking news along with a gallery of my plane spotting photos. In the summer 2022 I decided that I wanted to expand this format and began work on this website. I'm starting out now, in the fall of 2022, with a few reviews and news stories that in the future I hope to expand both in the quality and quantity of what I offer.
